  • December 9thAuthor Visit with the Ridgefield Public LibraryA reading and discussion about the writing process, collaboration with illustrator Paola Escobar, and publication of Digging for Words. Children, families and adults are welcome to join this Zoom program. Attendees can purchase books through the Books on the Common Bookshop site. Registration required.

  • November 7th: Virtual Picture Book Workshop with the Bixby Free Memorial Library. An hour-long introduction to the ins and outs of writing picture books for children, covering the basic rules of the form, tips and tricks for writing and revision, and both free and paid resources to help you with your craft.
